What is fractional HR, and how is it different from hiring an HR manager?

Fractional HR is having an HR partner without having to add a full-time HR position. You get an experienced HR professional who works with your business on a flexible basis. You can get help with the issues that come up today while also building the HR foundation you'll need as your company grows.

How small does a company have to be to work with you?

There is no minimum. We meet businesses where they are. You may need occasional HR guidance today and more comprehensive support in the future. The advantage of a flexible HR partnership is that the level of support can evolve alongside your business.

What are my engagement options?

Our services are available through three engagement options: A monthly retainer providing ongoing HR support at a predictable monthly cost. Strategic or Transactional HR gives you as-needed support for specific questions, needs, or one-time requests. Project work gives you dedicated support for defined projects, initiatives, and deliverables.

Can you help us build an employee handbook from scratch?

Yes. Handbook and policy creation is one of our most requested projects. We draft policies that reflect how your business actually operates, review them with you, and deliver a finished handbook your team can use and your managers can apply consistently.

Do you handle hiring, or just advise on it?

Both. We can run the full talent acquisition process, from writing the job description through pre-employment screening and reference checks, or we can advise your team and improve the process you already have.
